About Dipped

We made a snack we couldn't stop eating.

So we thought you might like it too.

How it started

It started with a tortilla chip and some very good chocolate.

Genuinely — that's it. Someone was eating chips. Someone else had chocolate. One of us suggested dipping one in the other. Two people thought it was weird. They were wrong.

We've been making them in small batches since. The process hasn't changed much. The chip goes in. The chocolate goes on. We add something to finish it. Then we try to stop eating them. We rarely succeed.

We sell them now. You're welcome.

We make less so we can make it right. New flavours drop when they're ready, not when a calendar says so.

HOW WE MAKE IT

We could have made it easier.

We chose not to.

There's a cheaper way to do this. Compound chocolate, a bigger factory, more SKUs. We thought about it for about five minutes.

We went the other way instead. Small batch. Real chocolate sourced from people who care about it. Labels printed fresh on demand so we never waste a thing.

It takes longer. It costs more. The result tastes like something worth telling people about. We think that's the right trade.
